If you are using the new user interface (Tools->Switch to new sketch) Vensim will create a basic HTML page for you that will work immediately in a browser.
You must start by configuring one of the model views so that it shows what you need when it is published to the internet. The diagram below shows a view of a model developed to look at the spread of the Covid19 virus. It is running in SyntheSim mode so you can see the sliders.
This is the kind of thing that will work well in a browser.
