After a screen has been read, and before you shift to another screen, the screen is taken down. All windows on the screen disappear and any additional tools or error windows that were not placed in the screen are also deleted. Note that if you find an extra window appearing in a Venapp, it is because of a bad takedown. You will need to exit and restart Vensim to correct things.
